Are you struggling with stress eating , insatiable hunger, sugar cravings, stubborn fat, and food addictions.

Does your weight keep you from living your best life? Welcome to the club!

The good news is that these conditions are reversible!

With a few self  awareness and following these simple tools and guidelines, we can resynchronize the seven hormones of metabolism .

How often or how many days will depend on your own desire and success. Do this three days, one week a month to 21 days, and you can lose 8-12 pounds per month, and reset your hormones to have the best version of you.

  1. MEATLESS- designed to reset your estrogen by excluding red meat and alcohol from your diet. Essentially for everyone, whether you’re a meat eater or not. The science behind meatless is profound.  It’s all related to the hormones in the meat, types of bacteria in a persons gut related to the meat. Higher estrogen in women arises from greater lifetime estrogen exposure and recirculating in the gut and blood. Several documented studies reveal that the root of obesity, early menstrual cycles, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and certain forms of breast, ovarian and endometrial cancer is from the rise of estrogen in our body. Instead, eat clean proteins like pasteurized eggs, wild caught fish, salmon and shrimp to boost your energy while avoiding meat. If you can’t resist meat for a whole week, simply skip eating  meat for three days, eat a pound of vegetables and increase your fiber intake by 5 grams per day. Your scale and body will thank you.
  2. SUGAR FREE – intended to decrease your cravings from sugar and reset your insulin levels. Insulin controls whether what we eat turns to fat and make a body become insulin resistant rather quickly. In turn, high insulin leads to increase estrogen and testosterone, making weight loss worse. By reducing sugar eat only low glycemic foods and choose foods less likely to raise blood sugar levels. The goal is to eat 20-50 grams of net carbs per day from plants, such as green vegetables, raw carrots,  kidney beans, black beans, chickpeas, and lentils. No sugar substitutes with the exception of stevia.
  3. FRUITLESS – this will rest your hunger hormone, leptin, which is the gatekeeper of fat. Instead choose fruits that are low in fructose such as berries, coconut, avocados, olives, lemons, and limes
  4. CAFFEINE FREE – this will rest your relationship with stress and cortisol. As we all know, coffee is our go to for fatigue, as we attempt to maintain life’s struggles. It’s toxic in large amounts and triggers cortisol increase and becomes a viscous cycle with insulin resistance, increase blood pressure, increase blood sugars, and reduces blood flow to the brain !!Whoa! Start by cutting your coffee intake in half for three days. Then Say goodbye to coffee and substitute with black tea, green tea, and herbal teas, but only two cups per day. Sleep, weight and energy levels will change drastically by doing so.
  5. GRAIN/GLUTEN FREE – this will activate your thyroid hormone in a powerful way and will reset again insulin and leptin. Grains/gluten can keep you addicted to the very foods that cause the worst damage by making you more hungry. Avoid rice, breads, wheat, rye, pizza, pasta, pastries, doughnuts, cookies, cakes, processed  foods, and  instead eat your veggies, proper clean proteins, limited fresh fruits, and add Vitamin D to your supplements for better absorption. When doing so, you will rebuild new taste buds, have a better digestive system and avoid the autoimmune conditions that have faced America over the past decades.
  6. DAIRY FREE – designed to reset your growth hormone, which will also improve cortisol levels, decrease inflammation and promote healthy weight loss. The Dairy stats are dangerously in overdrive when it leads to chronic diseases including cancer, diabetes, dementia ,mental illness, obesity and we all know now whether its casein, whey or lactose, it contributes to the rising cost of health care. Avoid milk, processed cheese, butter and yogurt. Eat lots of fiber, fresh vegetables, increase protein, drink milk alternatives such as almond, coconut or hemp. Cows milk contain seven times as much casein as human breast milk. Cheese requires approximately ten pounds of milk to produce one pound of cheese. Huge amounts of casein exposure leads  to increase estrogen and cows milk even organic contains 33 times the amount of estrogen .Whoa!
  7. TOXIN FREE – redirect your testosterone level to normal, along with supporting the reset of estrogen, insulin, leptin and thyroid. So we’ve cut out meat, alcohol, sugar, high fructose fruits, caffeine, grains and dairy. We incorporated better sleep habits and exercise as well. Even with these efforts the world we live in is full of toxins. Most foods we eat are full of pesticides and fertilizers. Most cosmetics are synthetics, as is household cleaning products, fire retardant materials in couches, the lining of tuna fish cans, face creams, prescription drugs, processed foods, heavy metals in the environment , lipstick and even the air that we breathe , the list is endless. Detoxing is crucial for our long term health. Whether you do a three day or five day detox, find one that will reset your body and do what we can to reduce exposure and boost metabolism. Avoid parabens, phthalates, sodium sulfates, read labels and increase your micronutrients. Lastly Glutathione is the most potent antioxidant to detox free radicals. I’m a strong believer in this liposomal vitamin to combat disease and premature aging.

After 12 years of opening Timeless RX , I still am a big proponent of having a long term strategy when in comes to hormonal health. We all need a fair amount of the right estrogen, progesterone and testosterone in our bodies to increase longevity and our health span. What causes these hormonal imbalances is multifactorial, truly a puzzle and Timeless Rx is here to put the pieces together.
